Bennett & Belfort partner Michaela May is scheduled to speak on March 12, 2026, from noon to 1 in a Boston Bar Association (BBA) program titled, “Preparation with Purpose: Managing Deponents in Employment Matters.”
Attendees will hear from both employee-side and management-side attorneys about how they approach deposition preparation and will leave with practical strategies for counsel who are preparing clients for and representing them in depositions.
“A deposition is not a familiar scenario for most plaintiffs,” May said. “At the same time, a plaintiff-employee’s deposition is critical to their case and is sometimes their first and only opportunity to tell their story. Helping their clients navigate their deposition is one way that an experienced and well-trained employment lawyer makes a difference.”
