Yee Yee Myint brings a unique combination of federal prosecution experience, regulatory expertise, and business acumen to business and employment litigation matters. With her background in complex legal investigations and courtroom advocacy, Yee Yee provides strategic counsel to clients navigating litigation challenges.
Legal Experience
Yee Yee brings litigation experience as a Trial Attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division, where she prosecuted criminal conspiracies involving bid rigging, price fixing, and cartel cases. In that role, she collaborated with law enforcement partners both domestically and internationally as part of the Procurement Collusion Strike Force to combat procurement fraud and antitrust violations.
Yee Yee’s prosecutorial experience includes serving as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the District of Columbia, where she managed hundreds of criminal cases from intake through sentencing. Her courtroom experience spans evidentiary hearings, trials, motion hearings, and post-conviction proceedings, providing her with strong advocacy and case management skills.
Prior to her prosecutorial work, Yee Yee gained valuable regulatory and enforcement experience with the Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement through both the SEC Scholars and Student Honors programs. She assisted in high-profile investigations and enforcement actions involving market manipulation, fraud, and compliance failures across various sectors including asset management, cryptocurrency, and fintech. Her work contributed to significant enforcement outcomes, including trial preparation for SEC v. Terraform Labs, which resulted in a $4.5 billion judgment.
Business and Financial Background
Prior to her legal career, Yee Yee had experience in financial services and healthcare distribution, developing a strong foundation in regulatory compliance and business operations that enhances her legal practice.
Education and Credentials
Yee Yee earned her Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law, magna cum laude, where she was a Senior Editorial Staff Member of the RWU Law Review and was a member of the Honors Program. She holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business with concentrations in Finance and Marketing from Elizabethtown College.
She is admitted to practice before the Massachusetts state courts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, as well as in Florida.
