Who We Are
Emily Batcheler has over 10 years’ experience in civil litigation, handling everything from workers’ compensation cases in Georgia, to large scale insurance defense cases in Massachusetts. She has handled hundreds of cases through initial investigation, discovery, mediation, trial and appeal. She currently focuses her practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on employment law and business matters. She is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of Georgia and the United States District Court – District of Massachusetts.
Education
Emily was born in Dracut, MA. She traveled to Pittsburg, PA to attend Carnegie Mellon University, where she obtained a dual degree in Business and Decision Science. She then ventured to Athens, GA where she graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law. While in law school she participated in multiple clinics such as the Business Law and Family Law Clinic. She also interned with companies such as Xerox, Metasys, the Georgia Pro Bono Partnership, and the Department of Community Health.
Activities
Emily is passionate about preserving the environment for future generations and is involved in numerous organizations working towards that goal. She also enjoys reading and writing fiction, running various road races, and spending time with her friends and family, including her husband and their many animals.
