Zak Hammond’s work negotiating a severance for a former City of Boston employee received attention from the Boston Globe in article published on October 20, 2023, discussing a severance paid by the City of Boston to a former Chief of Staff to the Community Engagement Cabinet. In that matter, Attorney Hammond represented an individual whom he alleged was targeted for unlawful reasons. The severance agreement did not include confidentiality provisions.
