On October 12, 2022, B&B Partner Craig D. Levey presented to a group of real estate professionals at the “New England Owners Meeting” for Sotheby’s International Realty. Attorney Levey discussed several prevalent and hot button legal issues involving the real estate industry, including negotiating and drafting agent contracts, agent hiring and departures, and the enforceability of arbitration provisions. B&B routinely represents real estate professionals in a variety of matters, both counseling and litigation, and Attorney Levey touched upon some past experiences and cases.
The annual owner’s meeting, hosted by Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty, took place in Beacon Hill. Other industry experts discussed the current housing market, mortgages, generating revenue, and effective marketing tools.
