Bennett & Belfort, P.C. is pleased to announce the addition of Attorney Zak Hammond to the firm. Mr. Hammond focuses his practice on employment matters, litigating claims for discrimination based on race, national origin, gender, pregnancy, and disability as well as retaliation, unpaid wages, and medical leave. He also negotiates employment agreements and regularly advises on non-compete, non-solicit, and separation agreements.
Mr. Hammond brings a diverse legal background and finely-honed written and oral advocacy skills to the firm. He has handled a variety of matters in State and Federal trial courts, the Massachusetts Appeals Court, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, and the Massachusetts Civil Service Commission.
Prior to joining Bennett & Belfort, Mr. Hammond was an associate attorney at civil litigation firms in the Boston area and South Florida. After attending law school at the University of Miami, he served as a judicial clerk for the Business Litigation Session for Miami-Dade County Superior Court, where he gained insight into complex, high-stakes civil litigation. B&B welcomes Attorney Hammond to our team.
