Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly honored B&B Partner Michaela May as one of its “Top Women of the Law” for 2024, in a ceremony held on November 12, 2024, at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston.
May, who joined the firm in 2018, primarily represents workers employment-related disputes. May’s practice includes wage-and-hour, discrimination, sexual harassment, severance agreements, and restrictive covenants. Her clients work in a wide variety of professions and industries, including medicine, academia, technology, finance and hospitality.
Lawyers Weekly interviewed May in connection with the honor. “Every day, I see people lose their jobs and the effect it has on their well-being,” May told the newspaper. “I love that I get to help people keep their jobs.” May was one of approximately 50 women attorneys honored by Lawyers Weekly.
May serves as President of the Massachusetts Employment Lawyers Association and sits on the Labor & Employment Steering Committee of the Boston Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association’s PFML Working Group.
